Next agriculture

Amidst the decreasing number of individuals engaged in farming in Japan, there are many articles expressing concerns about the future of Japanese agriculture.
Food self-sufficiency is a crucial element of national security in any country, but in Japan, even though self-sufficiency rates are considered high for staples like rice and eggs, the country still relies on imports for fertilizers and feed.
The situation has led to a pessimistic view among commentators, especially considering the dwindling number of farmers.
However, in the midst of this, there are young people who are embarking on the development of a new form of agriculture, dreaming of a future where AI and drones play a role. As someone who has experienced the changing times, I have hope for these efforts and find myself wanting to support and cheer on these young individuals, envisioning a revitalized agricultural landscape.
Daydreams about New Agriculture and Home Gardening
Through the AI and drone technology developed by Nokanotane, it becomes possible to defend against the formidable foes of agriculture, such as pests and weeds. This innovation allows for weekly or monthly farming cycles, giving rise to new types of part-time farmers and various styles of home gardening. This is being referred to as the democratization of agriculture.
Example of Delusion
①The continuously increasing abandoned farmland is being utilized, reviving the once beautiful fields of Japan.
②By engaging with nature and consuming vegetables grown by oneself, not only do the gut bacteria rejoice, but it may also contribute to a reduction in allergies and mental health issues among the younger generation.
③Sensing the observation of plants, insects, fungi, and weather in nature directly on the skin can enrich one’s sensitivity, potentially leading to positive effects on creativity and quick thinking in business. Is it true that many millionaires in the United States are nature enthusiasts?
④Of course, moving under the sun contributes to both health and good sleep.
⑤The communication and networking between urban and rural areas could potentially serve as a means to address various modern disconnects and social disparities, contributing to improvement.
⑥I may add more if I come up with additional thoughts.
